This is a lesson to you to keep track of your stuff. It’s a wild wild world out there!

My swim team kid has never lost anything of substance. Had a bag stollen but eventually part of it was found. It happens.

Our pool is probably OP’s pool based on the layout and there is definitely an understood “adult towel rail” and “kid towel rail” on opposite sides on the pool. We don’t have a ton of sun in the seating areas so wet towels don’t have a chance if they don’t go on the rails.

Where did you go to dinner? Were you eating at the snack bar? Or did you leave the facility? Did you leave your towel on the railing to dry?

OP and as I said, I walked to the side of the pool perpendicular to where my towel was and ate at a picnic table. It was maybe 100 steps away or less.

What’s a linus? Is it like an E-Bay?

I'm with you, OP. I'm a swimmer as well and have my favorite towels. Not only do they dry well, but they remind me of meets and swims with friends. I'd be frustrated, too. I hope the towel turns up for you.

You mean free 1st visit with sister Lucy therapist session.
And OP needs it!

Hahaha!

Thank god I live in a country club gated community. Nobody steals anything. Plus we are all ladies and gentlemen.

Our children are not stealing towels nor do hang them on fences. Sounds tacky. OP needs to join a better pool.

It was a sentimental towel (I know that sounds dumb)

I am a swimmer, too and I know exactly what you mean. I'm sorry - I hope it turns up!!
