Nonlawyer at the Fed. The lawyers I know there are overall very hard working and largely, though not entirely, a pleasure to work with.

They are generally pleasant & capable at the OCC and FDIC. I have extensive exposure to all three agencies' Legal divisions.

There are a few curmudgeonly folks, but even people from their own agency don't like them. But I mean, that's any organization with more than a few dozen people (public or private sector).
