You really think he didn't have a PSA test? Interesting that they released a statement from his doctor last year that included a number of reviews of his physical from doctors at Walter Reed/Bethesda. A long list of specialists. Interesting, that there was no urologist mentioned. I do not believe that was happenstance that it was left out. They knew. DH has PSA done every year and has for many years. For awhile, when there were some jumps, he had it every six months. Another lie here? |
Find the doctor's report here. Please note, a number of specialists mentioned, but no urologist? Makes no sense. https://x.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1924250308709961991 |
Yes, that's the meaning of aggressive. |
And yet, so many people here saying it can’t be. |
As a JHU radiation oncologist pointed out on MSNBC today, at Biden’s age, routine PC screening is over—by 13 years. It is not recommended past 70 or when life expectancy is <10 years, whichever is sooner. Everyone dies of something. For the President’s sake, I hope he chooses treatment that does not sap his quality of life. He deserves whatever good time he can get. |
See above. PSA is not a routine screen for 70+. There is an end date on mammography as well; it is comparable. |
The President of the United States does not get "routine" care. |
No. It is not. I am begging you, please stop spreading misinformation. This is an awful situation. You are making it worse. Prostate cancer at stage 4 does not appear in four months. It simply does not. That’s not the disease course. I think people must be feeling some political pressure to lie or something, and it is the worst possible instinct. Please do not do this. |
Yes, for aggressive breast cancer, this is possible, though also possible the mammogram didn’t catch it. Nevertheless, this is indeed possible. It is not possible to go from a normal PSA to aggressive terminal prostate cancer with bone mets in four months. So, either Biden wasn’t getting PSAs (possible but would be a little weird for a sitting president) or this is not new. |
Agree, very odd they omitted that each time. |
My father is the same age as Joe Biden and was diagnosed with prostate cancer that had spread to his bones in 2023. I thought we wouldn't have him for long. Turns out his chemo was very successful. Recent scan was clear. We can hardly believe it. The downside is that chemo has side effects no matter what your age, but in your 80s it is tough. So he's here and we are grateful, but he is much more fragile. I wish the best for Joe and his family. |
Agree. Any comments he makes or attempts he makes to engage with this should just be ignored. Just go away. |
What on earth are you panicking about? Are you an oncologist who has treated Biden? If not, you have no idea how long he’s known about it either. What is so awful and dangerous about suggesting that it’s not a conspiracy and sometimes illnesses happen quickly??? Weird. |
(DP). Could it be the case that he did have localized prostate cancer years ago, had it resected and now it is back as stage 4, in his bones, as a new tumor subtype that is aggressive? I’m in remission for an aggressive (HER2) breast cancer. Lots of women get their mastectomy only to have it come back in their bones or organs later on. Not sure how it differs for prostate cancer. This hits home to me because some hormone positive breast cancers are relatively slow growing but my tumor doubled in size in two months and spread to my lymph nodes before I could catch it. |
So are you suggesting that Biden has been knowing for over a year that he had cancer and kept it a secret and did not treat it? And why did it keep it a secret when he was no longer the candidate after June 2024 and not even the president since January? |
