Democratic Senators just voted to keep biological males in the girls’ room, Democratic Senators are cheering to BLOCK deportations of illegals, and Democratic Senators are now planning to fly south of the border to personally get a deported illegal and bring them back! Huh? Democrats are complaining about LEGAL immigrants being detained and incarcerated in foreign countries. I haven't heard a single national Democratic figure defending illegal immigration. And bragging that the border is "closed" isn't a selling point. Legal immigration and the free flow of goods, services, and tourism remains economically important. Democrats should be talking about the $90B of tourism that the Trump administration just threw away by scaring LEGAL tourists from other countries.

You are misrepresenting the facts of each of those examples. Due process is a “popular position”. That’s what VanHollen is doing. He is fighting for our system of government. This man was not “deported” at all he was kidnapped and sent to a foreign gulag at the personal request of Trump. Yes I realize that Fox news is propaganda and telling you to be outraged but thinking people can understand basic facts like the complete lack of due process.

+1. This one immigrant who is not a US citizen is getting 90% of the news coverage when thousands of US citizens are paying higher prices, losing their livelihoods, etc. It wasn't right but it shouldn't dominate the news cycle either. Quietly get him back.

Same problem here. Spending always goes up, both parties suck. But optically, Republicans are cutting some programs and some bureaucrats, and Democrats are objecting to any cuts and any layoffs. Ballot box poison.
