Maybe not worthless if it’s helpful info for parents in making the decision? If my kid did poorly on IAAT, I wouldn’t push them into Algebra 1H just bc they got pass advanced on SOL.

Has anyone received their child's IAAT score yet?

Yes, I posted on the other IAAT thread that my child received their scores yesterday. The teacher gave them each the paper score report.

Just curious to know how does the report look like ? Is it just the percentage or 4 sections score ?

The report includes about 20 categories (they call them "standards"). For each standard, it lists the number of questions and how many they got correct. It also includes the percentage correct, and the NPR (national percentile ranking).

Interesting. We didn't get that, just the NPR in a form letter. This was last year.

We got an email saying we would get the results today.

Strange. Did they tell you how many questions your child got correct?

No, literally just a percentile score and that (remember this was last year) DC would be in Algebra 1 Honors in 7th if the SOL was high enough.

Did the email mention if we will be the results in mailbox today? Or ParentVUE? Is it county wide or just school by school?

I asked my daughter today after school and she told me that her teacher said they would be going home very soon.

I mentioned the email before our school sent them home in sealed envelopes in the 6th graders backpacks. They stressed not telling anyone your score.

DD's Teacher said we will receive it at the end of April but its almost end of April and today is the last week of this month to send in Folders nothing today .I wonder why is so much conspiracy around IOWA this year ,they didn't communicate anything till now that its officially being cancelled out and no word about it at all .I came to know only through DCUM and fellow MOMS At the least we all deserve to know the score , after all the buzz..
