BUT-DOGE is a White House agency, this seems to be settled at this point. And Elon is a special govt employee so his public statements related to DOGE actions have to be given some legal legitimacy, correct? Doesn't that mean something in court proceedings? Especially when Trump says DOGE will do the cutting if the agencies don't.

Trump allowed Musk to preside over a Cabinet meeting in which he bragged about firing employees and canceling programs, grants, and contracts, and even laughed about firing the Ebola prevention workers. They can deny all day every day, but there is a whole month of Musk leading the DOGE team and forcing the departments and agencies to burn down whatever he recommends or be attacked by him to Trump and the Project 2025 fascists.

I suspect Elon is scared. He keeps talking about how someone is going to kill him. He mentioned that on Joe Rogan.

The New Republic reported that Musk wants to blame the agency heads for the firings and not his beloved DOGE. But we have the tapes. He was gleeful about the firings.

He was happy to hurt USAID employees after USAID investigated him for breaking US sanctions to give Starlink to Russia.

Maybe something like his own rocket?

Poland is stepping up to send Starlink terminals to Ukraine, however there is now a lack of trust and Ukraine will be looking to buy this technology from France in the future. So Trump screwed Musk on this. Wonder how Musk feels about that.

^. When Trump is signalling that he prefers corruption to fair dealings, it's hard not to believe that any American company might have a kill switch and use it.

Which is reason #5685257643688 that he shouldn't be president. He is the opposite of American values. As an ethical conservative, I reject him.

What makes you think that the law matters anymore? So many things about DOGE are illegal. They now have access to social security records, treasury payments system, VA medical records, IRS tax data, UCIS immigration applications, SEC data, control over government payroll systems, etc. I’m not very hopeful that this 130 day limit actually matters anymore.
