I mean…at 5am, about to spend hours driving and then at a soccer field, before I’ve had coffee? I’m not a cheerful person. I’m ok avoiding human contact for this small transaction.

I have only gone to Starbucks when i have a gift card. I make better at home for less than fifty cents.

My local 7-11 has really good coffee, and it's a very clean store run by Mr. Singh and his family. I haven't been to Starbux in years.

Yeah I don't know if they've changed their syrups recently or what, but it's not good. I used to treat myself to a chestnut praline latte once or twice a season and this year it was gross. Food is not good either. The breakfast sandwiches are gas station quality.

The food is so bad. They used to have decent fresh food options - salads, fruit and cheese plates, bananas, etc. That’s all gone. When they switched to dried fruit in their cheese plates I gave up entirely.

The egg bites are pretty good. Although you can also buy them at Costco…

I love those egg bites. Ugh, they're probably about to get SO expensive!

Starbucks at my local Safeway is my exercise plan. 2 miles round trip. And in Safeway, the Starbucks' employees are union. I also don't want my Safeway to close. That Starbucks makes bank.

They are now too expensive. The bakery items used to be reasonably priced. They were never the best, but you were willing to cough up $3 for a breakfast sandwich. Now, they are close to $6. Add that to a $6+ drink, plus tax, and you can spend nearly $15 on breakfast.
