Exactly this. If Bullying is so bad in HS that I as a parent think a meeting with the principal is warranted then Yes I am filing the form and naming names. Because this would mean my HS has run out of the appropriate first steps(Asking/Telling people to stop their behavior, ignoring the folks in question because they’re not worth the energy and it’s not a big deal, talking with a counselor or trusted adult in the school). Why should my child need to change classes because other people’s kids are being jerks? Inconvenience the folks who can’t behave, be kind, and respect the community. Change their classes. |

Wow. What do you want the school to do if you can't fle a bullying report because you don't want to ruin your social life. Bullying report is first step. Think of your daughter instead of yourself.
And then come on here blaming the school for not doing enough. Be a responsible adult. |
Can't imagine throwing your child under the bus in order to maintain your social circles! Wow |
Taylor is a flacid disappointment |
Taylor doesn't hire the ombudsman. That's the board's job. |
+1 protect your kids, not your social life. |
| You file the report. Paperwork matters. Otherwise parents all over would be requesting to move their kids to be with friends, away from a teacher they don't like etc etc. |

Is your concern that the parents will tell their kids, which will make it worse? You'd like to move your daughter without the kids knowing it because of them? (Because you're comment that you're friends with the parents doesn't make a lot of sense to most parents.) If it's really about your own relationships, then you first contact these parents who you are apparently friends with. Let them know that a bully report is coming. If it's that you think the bullying will get worse if the kids hear you are complaining, then go into the school, sit down with the counselor, and have that conversation. They may be sympathetic. (And frankly, if they think you'll be a persistent problem for them, they might switch the schedules just for their own convenience.) |

This has to be a troll post.
Filing a bullying report would be a close second step to step one. Step one would be confronting the parents about their children's behavior. |
