Not until May. They post college destinations on the school's official Instagram and its not done until all admissions are determined.

They are almost twice the size of STA and NCS - so percentage wise it is about the same going to Ivies....

I wish all schools did this. SR used to (in addition to the unofficial student account), but they didn't last year...

No, they're like 50% larger, maybe less. 120 vs 80. Definitely not 160.

Stop exaggerating. STA has between 80 to 90 seniors, and Sidwell has 125. “…Almost twice the size” would mean that Sidwell has close to 160 to 180 seniors. You don’t have to be good at math to know that’s not true.

Percentage wise (and otherwise) Sidwell is not like those other two schools.

I meant to say, STA AND NCS have between 80 to 90 seniors…

Actually STA and NCS enroll 70-82. 80 is a very large year for either school. My son graduated with 75.

**Sigh**

Both NCS and STA have 82 graduating seniors THIS YEAR. No one cares about the numbers when your son attended—that’s the past.

Once again, stop exaggerating. Sidwell is nowhere near “almost twice the size” of NCS or STA (164 seniors). You should be able to support your child’s school without trying to minimize the accomplishments of others.

Who cares about how many kids from Sidwell get into top schools. It’s a miserable experience to go there. The kids can’t stand each other and can’t wait to leave. But hey - we got into Columbia !

The rest of us are not that invested in this Sidwell fight, so please stop.

I have a question for those of you who seem to know what it takes to get into these schools. My MS DD wants to go to Barnard or similar school. Gets mostly A/A- so a strong student but not the top student. Still years out so can improve grades or strengthen portfolio in other areas. What else does she need to do to get in? Thanks.

And the cheating is so rampant. Great combo for the formative years: a painful experience wrapped in morally suspect behavior!
