He majorly put his career on the back burner so I could take a really big job while he does most of the kid logistics, etc. The best part is that he’s not resentful but really excels at being a dad while still keeping a job—with flexible hours but not a lot in terms of advancement potential.

DH does many nice things but one will always stay in my memory, I was involved in an accident, fortunately I was fine but my car was pretty banged up. He reached the scene with my favorite Starbucks latte and a sandwich which I love.

He said he didn’t want me stressed out on an empty stomach as I had skipped breakfast that day and also thought it would cheer me up, this gesture will always stay with me.
