Styled my newly short, layered hairstyle for me! We were newlyweds and I got The Rachel cut. Washed my hair and quickly got frustrated realizing that there was no way I could style/blow dry the back of my hair like my hairstylist taught me.
We were going out to meet friends. DH took helm of the hairdryer and a round brush and my instructions and it ended up fabulous! |
| I can’t share here. |
| Wrapped a gift (watch) for me in fabric from her stockings. It was everything at once. |
| Tossed my salad. Mind blowing. |
| When I got tired of practicing law and wanted to get a grad degree in poetry instead of saying WTF he said he'd pay my tuition and we could move in together to save expenses. He wasn't even my DH yet. |
What? Fabric "from her stockings"? |
Sorry, wasn’t really clear. She cut them up to make flat sheets and treated it like wrapping paper. |

He saved my life after my second birth. The emergency button was hidden in a drawer. Maybe there was a change of shift or something, but it was the middle of the night and the corridor and nurse station were completely empty, and he ran around yelling for help until someone came and tried to revive me. Apparently it was touch and go.
May not be everyone's definition of lovely. He's not into lovely, to be honest. He's a research scientist on the spectrum. But he sure did the right thing that day. |

Wore surgical gloves and used to do my self tan in late 90s/early 2000s…lol It was perfection.
But he’s great with surprises. Married 26 years and so many fabulous surprise trips, surprise dinners and surprise parties over the years. But the way he helped my mom after my dad died was very special. And with one of my nephews who had a difficult thing happen. |

Really took care of me when I had to have surgery for something unexpected/relatively serious. I mean, your partner should, but he really made sure I had what I needed, waited on me, was totally present for me.
Honestly, after a lot of rough years and rough times it was very nice and gave me a new appreciation for him. |
| She bought me my favourite watch (felt like a fortune at the time $1000) while she was a graduate student and broke. Apparently she saved for months to make it happen. I will never forget it. We have been married for 10 years and I do everything for her. When I say everything yes everything she asks. In fact she doesn't even have to ask because I know what she needs and when she needs it. I really love her and we are a great team. And she has given me 2 amazing kids. When you have a great wife that you love everything in your life is stress free and easy. |
Why on earth would she do that? |
| He paid my law school loan in full right after we got married. |

I was having an odd medical issue that I was terrified would result in a lifetime of inconvenience and embarrassment. Nothing that would be harmful and not nearly as bad as other peoples journeyes but i was depressed and the day to day was getting me down.
He went to work before I did and I was totally procrastinating getting up so I missed all of this. He left me a sticky note that he had taken my car out to get filled up and gotten me a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups for breakfast. |
