That's one way to get the boomers in MoCo and Howard to sell. Especially with PA and VA being the two bordering states.

So it's good housing policy too.

Won't they just move it into a trust? My parents did that.

Governor’s budget proposal to include tax cuts and ‘growth agenda’ spending

Moore: 82% of people will see a cut or no change in taxes; corporate tax rate would also be cut

And at least we don't have to pay personal property tax on cars in Maryland, like in VA.

Why is my dog barking?

I'm white and lived in Baltimore City for years before I left the state. STFU.

Some might but that takes a lot of effort.

Oh no! Massachusetts!

but yet my taxes will go up plus a surcharge on capital gains. They just love losing wealthy residents to VA. At some point, who will stay? There is zero incentive to stay in MD when VA is 5 min from my house.

Bye!

We’ll happily replace you with a dozen immigrants, who will all need state funded programs to function and survive here! They will strengthen us with their diversity!!! Take your money and GTFO! We don’t need you! Diversity is our strength!!!

"Another $128 million would be focused on strengthening the state’s regional economic competitiveness, Moore said. Nearly $28 million would go to a quantum computing joint venture between IonQ, the state and University of Maryland.

Moore said that $128 million would generate $515 million in economic activity and create 2,300 jobs. Those jobs would result in $210 million in income, he said."

Good old fashioned crony capitalism

Because Maryland is a disfunctional sh!tshow of a state, and it’s a laughingstock. Because our elected officials in the HoD and Senate cannot seem to say “no” when it comes to spending money. And the whole country laughs at us.

"The proposal eliminates the inheritance tax and offsets the revenue loss by lowering the estate tax
