Also, a quarter of CA is very green, ie, the Redwood forest. ^PP needs to look at a topography map of CA.

CA has desert, forest, mountain (great skiing in the Sierras) and beaches. It has amazing weather. If I had a ton of money, I would still live in CA. Alas, I'm not wealthy enough and got priced out of the housing market. But, I'd go back in a heartbeat if I became uber wealthy. My parents still live there, and we are going back this summer.

I don't think the governor's budget proposal should be based on your personal preferences. If you want to move to Virginia, then move.

people can't complain about poor policy? We are one of the least competitive states from a tax standpoint and business standpoint. Nothing else matters if we don't have economic growth.
