A couple of years ago Madison plays Landon at Madison with the no shot clock rule and all Madison did was runaround and kill the clock and waste time so the loss was only 8-3. The following year Madison was suppose to go to Landon to play and they bailed…wonder why lol! That would have been a 15 goal loss for the VA state champs with the shot clock in full effect. So yea, some of us do know what we’re talking about, but keep up the good fight public daddy from Robinson. And now we can at least come to some agreement that I do agree your state champs could compete with the bottom of the barrel in the WCAC and the IAC…bravo for that! And Severna Park has never come close to beating Landon although they are a fantastic team and would crush the VA public’s all day long.
It was 7-3 final including a garbage late goal for Landon and 4 to 3 heading into the 4th. Guess they don't have coaches that can design a pressure D to get the ball back?

You only know the shot clock rules because I told you, so I highly doubt you know how or why any game might've even happened or was discussed, let alone was proposed. But you do you.

You have a different definition of several than the rest of the world, as Oakton/Landon was 6 years ago now. Wouldn't get too excited about it, as they lost 8 games, didn't even make state playoffs and lost by a greater margin to a VA public. But the score was 6 to 14. To help you with math again, that's 8, not 15. I guess that's how you come up with your useless predictions.

And Landon dad, the only one that's been comparing to the top 4-5 privates is you. We actually acknowledge a difference. You? You're just on here trolling because you haven't been able to buy a bigger boat in a while.

wait. what? are you saying Landon dads are tools? stop the presses, nobody has ever said or heard that before!

has GZ posted their schedule yet?

HC needs to get with the program and post like all other programs have already done!

I love how public parents crow about losing by 4 and 8 goals somehow legitimizes them being more competitive than they really are. I think it's because public school, in general, is so awful the good teams in that particular year are used to pounding other publics by 15+.

I think Robinson or whoever this year's Robinson is, Langley maybe?, are good and slot right with Dematha in the WCAC and Episcopal in the IAC and St. Andrew's in the MAC. After the top 3 publics in the DMV, it drops off a shelf.

"Along with the usual WCAC schedule GZ will be playing:

McDonogh - away
Boys Latin - away
Culver
Torrey Pines, CA - away
GP - neutral
Landon - away
Bullis - away…."

Too funny. All of it lol! Anyone that saw that Madison game vs Landon a couple of years ago knows that wasn’t even close to an 8-3 game with a “garbage goal” at the end. The garbage goal was Madison’s lol. The whole team was garbage out side of the coach and the lsm

So Madison dad, why did Solomon bail on running the game back at Landon for last year? Of thats right, because Aaron isn’t an idiot and he knows what that outcome would have been and how demoralizing it would have been for his team to suffer that kind of beat down. Btw, he’s a class act and an excellent coach. Madison is lucky to have him and luck he didn’t leave for higher pastures this past year when given the opportunity. Best of luck to all teams this spring!

This discussion happened on the VHSL thread weeks ago and it wasn't good then.

Nobody was crowing about anything. It was a refutations of private school dad(s) trolling that a 4 goal game was a "blowout" (see: @ it again with a recent post), and that a specific game was a 15 goal game.

Let me ask you, if anyone made up ish about your team, that you knew was factually incorrect, how would you handle it differently? We're all looking to learn from you.

The top VA private last year got doubled up by the 2 public schools they played. Lost by a total of 11 goals between them. After the top 4-5 privates, it drops off a shelf.

You didn't have to admit you didn't know the reason why there wasn't a game, I already pointed that out. But then phrasing it next as "why did x coach bail?" and then creating your own fantasy answer sounds just as ignorant as your previous statements. You must be tough to carry on conversations with in person, even without all the typos.

Also, it's greener pastures. Not higher pastures.

Once again, it didn't seem close to an 8-3 game because it was actually 7-3, and a one goal game in the 4th. Could've gone either way at that point. Really glad for Landon dad's sanity they pulled it out at the end.

I'd be willing to bet that the clownish Landon Dad carrying on this debate is not the Dad of a great player, like the 2024 grad at Bucknell or the 2025 Princeton commit. People like that have nothing to prove. it's the Dad of a kid who barely plays, trying to reassure himself that riding the Landon bench makes his kid better than a "lowly public" like Madison or Riverside.
Be honest, am I right?

Why they hell are you talking about a game from 2 seasons ago - move on with your life

I saw GZ's ig post. I didn't realize they had 9 lacrosse commits. It's going to be a good 3 way battle between SJC, GZ and PVI with Dematha and GC battling for that 4th semi-final spot.
