She ended up at Columbia. Georgetown waitlisted her—-Camilla did a shakedown of the AOs lol

lol... Tony conducting "business" at the school visit cracked me up.

Willow was visiting Colby, not Bowdoin.

Not this year or last. I think your info is a few years old. I do agree this used to be be true about Bowdoin, though.

The Maine coast is nicer than almost anywhere else in New England. Pretty nice version of Mississippi

Mississippi has a coast too. Look at a map of Maine, go a couple miles inland, and look at the entire state. Maine is a big state. Name a nice town away from the coast. Ever been to Skowhegan? Waterville? Augusta? Mississippi is better…plenty of nice towns. Ever been to Oxford?

One former president (Pierce), several US senators and governors, Nathaniel Hawthorne and H.W. Longfellow all went there.

Average Bowdoin scores and profile are a notch lower than WASP and definitely upper ivies.

??

The data on College Navigator shows test score ranges for Bowdoin, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams right on top of each other. It’s Amherst that’s a notch lower (and possibly Pomona, because such a small fraction of students submit test scores). Seems like your info is out of date.

from our feeder nyc school, naviance shows it's just as hard.

which .. could mean Bowdoin gives a shit about feeders, or the other schools care more about their legacy applicants. either way, not a bad look on Bowdoin.

Bowdoin is much harder stats-wise to get into from our NE boarding school than Williams and Amherst. Equal to Swarthmore.
