To the RMSC tryout person - please don’t come at me with the USA Swimming manual to prove why your DD was wronged during tryouts. We’ve all seen your argument and heard about your report. I’d like to consider that DCUM matter closed.

Not really, there were a whole room full of supervised coaches that looked the other way when untrained kids were requested to go off the blocks that weren't certified and the coaches weren't using the protocol.

Head coaches are supposed to keep a record of all kids under a certain age that are certified to use the racing blocks, but they don't. At least for all intents and purposes they don't care.

Please see bolded section of my comment.

I don't understand how you can think that your request carries any honor.

DP. I don't understand what you want, PP. You've called this incident to people's attention and they have read about it and can respond as they want/need to. What is your desired action item?

Insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting a different response.

I guess swimming in Montgomery County is always going to suck
especially when it comes to racing dives.

Please tell that to Katie Ledecky

You won't see her swimming around here.

Saw here her for decades.

You aren't about to treat my daughter like she is Ledecky, are you? I mean the least you could do is pretend like she is going to win a gold. USA Swimming is notorious for only treating their stars well, it's a major criticism of their Safesport, is that it doesn't allow for non-members to file complaints.

Can you link the report that states these repeated complaints about them only treating the stars well?

Maybe you should have written, “a major criticism OF MINE of their safesport, is that it doesn’t allow for non-members to file complaints.” Your daughter doesn’t swim club and therefore doesn’t fall under the USA Swimming umbrella.

P.s. The Rockville pool not allowing 🌹 to dive off the blocks is not a reportable safesport violation. It’s also not a violation that she wasn’t offered a spot on the team.

You can't find an article about SafeSport. Now we know you are just trolling.
