Please explain how Silver Spring high school assignments work

My doctor's kids go to a HS in the NEC and praise it highly; we are happy here in the DCC.

I think the critics on this board are jealous of those of us who paid less than 1M$ for our home, and our kids are getting a really good education and into good colleges.

My older retired neighbors were all attending Wheaton HS when Einstein opened in the 60s. The rising seniors were given the choice of remaining at Wheaton or attending the new Einstein.

Sounds like the powers that be will use the same method.

Some HS students live 3-4 blocks away from Wheaton HS but are zoned for Northwood.

In all likelihood Woodward will not have any seniors during its opening year (2027-28).
