I feel disgusted by how many men worldwide are open to raping a child. In the entertainment industry, traveling to another country, via human trafficking, paying large sums of money... and going to whatever lengths to rape a child. It's sickening.

^^^ the Republican party

Except all the accused so far are liberals!!!

All of the accused? Jay Z and Diddy are the only men ever in the history of mankind to be accused? No Republican men ever? In any event, what if those two voted for Trump?

These two men are raping and drugging children. Do you have a defense of that or are you not able to discuss it for some reason? They seem to be vile pigs and your attempt to change the topic is weird.

+1 There is usually something attractive about everyone's physical appearance but not him.

The unnamed female celebrity should be contacted.

I guess that would happen if this was a criminal case versus a civil suit?

Is this why Beyonce's sister right hooked him in an elevator?

Diddy dated J Lo from 99-01, right? The alleged assault was in 2000 after an awards show. Did J Lo and Diddy come to that specific awards show together?

Disgusting "role models".

exactly, where were her parents?

Are you also wondering if she was dressed like she was asking for it?

It is more than reasonable for parents to know the whereabouts of their 13 year old CHILD.

There was a viral indie movie back then called “Thirteen” (?) about 13 yo girls sneaking out of the house and doing very adult things.

That's not what that movie was about at all!

It seems as though the victim has been locked in mediation with Jay Z for years. The Diddy situation likely prompted the resurfacing of the civil suit in a public way.

PP here. Wouldn't have happened in my mom's home!

Well good for you…?

I live in nyc and have 2 daughters, 12 & 15. They are both smart and independent kids, they take the subway and go all over nyc on their own to visit friends and attend their after school activities as do most of their similarly-aged friends. My older daughter even - gasp - goes to parties and concerts on her own (with friends) sometimes now that she’s in hs but she doesn’t drink because she’s a performer and doesn’t like how it makes her feel (she has tried small amounts of alcohol at home under supervision) and she abhors smoking and drugs. I would trust her to be in most different types of spaces because she knows her limits and how to keep herself safe. She also has self defense training and carries an alarm with her.
It’s mostly the kids who are overly sheltered and coddled by their parents, and parents who treat teens like children, who don’t know how to handle themselves and make really dumb choices like snaking out, going to inappropriate parties and binge drinking. Most kids who are given safe boundaries and allowed to learn by experience may have an uncomfortable moment or two but mostly grow up to understand how to handle themselves. Parent your kids but also realize that part of parenting is letting them learn how to grow up.

I am extremely sorry for this child who endured horrible experiences and I’m not at all surprised that JayZ is a child molesting creep.

Let your 15yo daughter drink at home and run around the city at night is not the brag you think it is.

Well you are … something. You’ve managed to misread the entire situation (the girl was 13, not a high schooler. Big difference!) while victim shaming and congratulating yourself on your own parenting.

He def wasn’t close with r. Kelly. R Kelly basically accused Jay z of trying to kill him in a business suit involving him pulling out of their joint tour

It's been a while since I saw that movie but from what I recall it was rebellious 13 year old girls getting involved with a "fast crowd" and sneaking of the house, ditching school, getting into drinking, drugs and older men. It's was very disturbing. Middle school kids, especially before cell phones and GPS, can get into some disturbing activities behind their parents' backs.

She was 19 when they started dating.

That’s the PR story. I remember a long time ago Beyonce and Jay Z on TRL with I think Carson Daly and Beyonce says “we met along time ago when I put out my first record with Destinys child” and Jay Z gives her this stern look and she immediately shuts up.
Destinys child’s debut single came out when she was 16.

Yep. They def started talking before 19. Although I’ve always thought Beyonce was older than her Hollywood age.

Jay Z and R Kelly were very close friends for years, did two albums together, toured together, and were featured on each others songs throughout the 90s and 00s.
