$9 million in Blueprint funding in jeopardy for MCPS due to failure to meet AIB deadlines

Also, judging by your comment you sound like a mcps co iffice troll who probably sits behind a desk working as an anti-teachite.

It seems like my truth leak struck an emotional chord. Use it to help teachers instead of the regular blame the teacher mentality. Stick up for planning time, support reporting, reject cover ups. Together we can make teaching respectable again but first have to admit the problems that make the profession unsustainable and abusive.

Yes, during covid we saw how corrupt MCEA is, but we can't do anything about it until and unless the state bans teacher unions.

There really isn't a plausible path for making teaching a respectable position. Covid set that back decades. Things are going to need to continue for deteriorate until the system completely falls apart. Only when will it be politically viable to propose reforms to the profession.

Covid is as much as a bs blame scapegoats as blaming the teachers for everything. The blame should be put on the admin, the superintendent, the union, and the co. These are the people in charge who have no responsibility and are so out of touch as they seem to have cart blanche and are at the lucky duck level where they hope around with 6 fig salaries after negatively influencing district after district. Look at the new Dean position at University of MD MM as she was just able to hop over after she made decisions that led to a staff being abused, then extracted millions of taxpayer funds away from students to her own pocket, then acts like a champion as UM sucks her butt with more tax dollars. Aye yai yai.

True. Covid itself wasn't the problem. MCEA forcing the extended school closure was thr problem.

Are you a teacher? If so and if you and other teachers have a problem with MCEA, just vote to change things, that's how unions work. Or if most people disagree with you and agree with MCEA, that sucks for you but it's a ridiculous reason to call for teachers unions to be banned just so you can go against the will of the majority of teachers...
