I'm willing to give an institution that has been around for 150+ years that has been a bastion of journalistic integrity before I'll extend the same credulousness to a random sibling WHO WASN'T THERE!

Because if a publication with an ounce of integrity or reputation names sources that requested anonymity betrays that request they never get another tip or lead or job application from a decent journalist ever again.

I'm not a Democrat and I thought the whole Russia thing was ridiculous but what Trump did on Jan 6th 2021 was absolutely an inexcusable and disqualifying matter. I say this because exactly what Trump did that afternoon was confirmed by the under oath testimony from his closest staff members, children, and the text message/phone data that was confiscated during that investigation. The sitting POTUS, Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed forces, ignored all pleas for help and guidance for HOURS while a mob of hundreds were roaming the halls if US Capitol Building chanting "hang" prominent leaders of our country. No excuse. This isn't "russiagate". Trump did this absolutely 100%. If you can support that as an American, I'm done with you.
