Trump. “It doesn't cost 60,000 bucks to bury a f###ing Mexican!”

Trump isn't just a mean clown, like he'd want you to think. He's got teeth and that's why suddenly all these Rs who were ok letting him win back in 2016 starting campaigning against him in 2020 (like Ohio's Gov Kasich at the DNC) and now a whole bunch more R's in 2024 (Republican Generals, his own Chiefs of Staff, Republican Senators, former VPs, etc.).

We know what he plans to do with this country. He's told us, and his closest advisors from 2016 have warned us.

Time to ensure he's loses so he'll be too humiliated (on top of being too old) to run again.

Just ignoring that, are we? 🤡

Willful ignorance. Trump is a megalomaniac.

His son in law, daughter, and grandkids are Jewish, diehard vocal supporter of Israel but loves Hitler?

Stuff like this is why I’m giving up. I’m done.

You’re giving Trump far too much credit if you think he’s connecting the dots on Hitler and the Jewish people. He’s much simpler and less educated than that.

It has NOTHING to do with Trump. It has to do with the people who say this stupid stuff. You included, as you’re trying to explain it away.

It’s getting embarrassing. Embarrassing to be associated or aligned with people who keep calling trump Hitler despite knowing he has a Jewish daughter and grandchildren and is unabashedly pro-Israel. Like, literally everyone knows this stuff - but the whole Hitler thing is still perpetuating.

It’s face palm material. It’s embarrassing. I’m a democrat and I’m definitely not voting for him but at this point I’m embarrassed be associated with the people calling trump Hitler, too.

I’m just done with all of it. It’s stupid.

Trump's fondness for Hitler has nothing to do with Hitler's feelings about the Jewish. The only embarrassing thing here is your simple-minded take.

It wasn't just the Jews who were subjected to concentration camps, you know that right? the whole point is to have "an other" to marginalize and Trump has that for sure.

They don't understand, or maybe they do.

LGBT people, gypsies, and other "bad' groups were sent to concentration camps by Hitler as well. It can be any "bad" group you want, if you aspire to be like Hitler: the disabled, the poor, the Hispanic, the Asian etc...

In april 2020, Vanessa Guillén, a 20-year-old Army private, was bludgeoned to death by a fellow soldier at Fort Hood, in Texas. The killer, aided by his girlfriend, burned Guillén’s body. Guillén’s remains were discovered two months later, buried in a riverbank near the base, after a massive search.

Guillén, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, grew up in Houston, and her murder sparked outrage across Texas and beyond. Fort Hood had become known as a particularly perilous assignment for female soldiers, and members of Congress took up the cause of reform. Shortly after her remains were discovered, President Donald Trump himself invited the Guillén family to the White House. With Guillén’s mother seated beside him, Trump spent 25 minutes with the family as television cameras recorded the scene.
In the meeting, Trump maintained a dignified posture and expressed sympathy to Guillén’s mother. “I saw what happened to your daughter Vanessa, who was a spectacular person, and respected and loved by everybody, including in the military,” Trump said. Later in the conversation, he made a promise: “If I can help you out with the funeral, I’ll help—I’ll help you with that,” he said. “I’ll help you out. Financially, I’ll help you.”

At a certain point, according to two people present at the meeting, Trump asked, “Did they bill us for the funeral? What did it cost?”

According to attendees, and to contemporaneous notes of the meeting taken by a participant, an aide answered: Yes, we received a bill; the funeral cost $60,000.

Trump became angry. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fxxxing Mexican!” He turned to his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and issued an order: “Don’t pay it!” Later that day, he was still agitated. “Can you believe it?” he said, according to a witness. “Fxxxing people, trying to rip me off.”

Trump is a monstrosity. He is a disgrace to the office of the president. I am so pissed off.

Democrats are so darn gullible. Then again they are still going on about Russiagate and Jan6.

“Many people are saying it’s true.” Look if that line is good enough for you to believe the cr@p that spews out of Trump’s pie hole, then it’s good enough for me to believe the sources who told the Atlantic.

You want standards then don’t be a hypocrite and pick and choose.

You believe anonymous sources but not Vanessa’s family?

Vanessa’s sister says it’s fake news.

Fake news with no sources, garbage.

I believe a reputable publishing organization that triple checks its sources before publishing something like this. A random family member who wasn't there doesn't have the same credibility.

Dude, you're defending Hitler. Hitler!

Even if what you say is true, ask yourself, what good things could Trump be saying about Hitler and why did he choose to use Hitler as an example when he could have used any number of other people with that same quality without the same association and baggage?

If there is a single other well known person in history with those qualities, and I'm positive there is, he could have said that person, yet he didn't. Why didn't he? The only explanations are;

1: He knew he could have used that person and didn't and therefore wanted to make a purposeful racist association with Hitler

2: He is so stupid that even if he didn't want to make a racist association the only person he could think of was Hitler and was too dumb to understand what horrible optics that would be.

Either way it's bad. Really bad. Racist or stupid, those are the two options, and if you support him, you're one of those two.

You would think that Trymp’s habit of continuously stiffing the people he interacts with-including his employees, would lead people to learn that he’s really a jerk who is not fit for high office.

You have entirely misread what I wrote or I articulated myself very poorly. I'm not defending Hitler at all. The argument above is that Trump isn't like Hitler or can't have expressed fondness for Hitler simply because he has Jewish family. But Trump isn't specifically connecting those dots. Rather, Hitler hated "others"...and Trump hates "others". Hitler wanted those "others" out of his country, and Trump wants "others" out of his country. Hitler was a populist strongman...and that's what Trump aspires to be. Hitler's generals blindly followed him...and he wants his generals to blindly follow him. Hitler had his brownshirts...and Trump has his MAGA. It is a simple-minded or gaslighting argument to say that Trump isn't like or doesn't like Hitler because of his Jewish family. The parallels between the two are obvious to the point that Trump comes out and says they're obvious.

Trump doesn’t hate others, he wants to enforce our immigration laws.

Democrats invoke Hitler to scare people. Democrats want illegal immigrants to flood our country to gain their votes.

If democrats are relying on scaring American voters with Hitler comparisons, which they’ve done with GWB, during his presidency, they’ve lost the plot. Trump wasn’t Hitler during his previous presidency, GWB wasn’t Hitler during his presidency, and Biden is the president stating publicly that Trump needs to be locked up. Weird.

Trump doesn't want to do anything on behalf of the country. He doesn't care about law and order. He only cares about himself. It's beyond disingenuous to say he just wants to enforce the immigration laws. And BTW, you trying to co-opt "weird" comes across as really awkward.
