Garth Brooks a perv?

The fact that he’s suing her now makes me think he didn’t. It would be cheaper for him to settle. Truly clearing my name would be worth the extra money, though.

She has Cassie’s legal team. So you could say the same about Diddy. Diddy could have settled before. Didn’t. Then had to settle for bigger money. But it was too late.

If you look at her actual accusations, they seem a bit far fetched, even for a star.

My vote is souped up revenge and blackmail for a mutual affair gone sideways.

Yup. This. The mistress (of 20 years) thought he would leave Trisha.

In the CNN article, it says she started working for Brooks in 2017, but was first hired by Trisha Yearwood in 1999. It’s unclear if she worked with Yearwood continuously during that time.

Often perpetrators with more money and power will do this to intimidate the victim. This doesn't mean he didn't do it. He wa an alcoholic for a long time doing bad things that he even sang about. Just because he is well liked doesn't mean he isn't a jerk behind closed doors.

The woman was identified only as “Jane Roe” in the suit, but yesterday (October 8) evening Brooks shared her name in a court filing in Mississippi.

“Garth Brooks just revealed his true self. Out of spite and to punish, he publicly named a rape victim."

He's an a$$hole.

Completely ignoring the fact that he originally filed his complaint not including either his or her name. And that it was her legal team that filed a motion to oppose that and then before that could be ruled on, publicly named him. So the reason her name is out there is because of her and her legal team

Or he publicly named an extortionist after his name was released by her team. He originally did not include her real name in his filings. He has a heck of a lot more to lose career and reputation wise than she does.

You already don’t believe her and calling her an extortionist and you don’t even know the story. She has already lost in the court of public opinion and he can continue to pretend to be a good old boy. You always want to believe the man, especially a well liked celeb.
