Garth Brooks a perv?

All of their images are protected by pricey PR, teams of ruthless lawyers, and lots of stories are 'caught and killed'. These guys are cash cows and their labels are part of global media conglomerates. They have unlimited money to make problems and drama go away and keep their images pristine.

I’m sure Brooks does have the money to make this go away, and apparently when offered the chance he said no. So she’s suing.

I still can’t picture what she’s claiming he did, like how does it work?

Usually when these stories come out they state the woman has some physical proof like texts or voicemails... I mean, not even TMZ has any and they always get the receipts.

It's all very she said, she said, she said so far. I'm less inclined to believe her without some kind of proof. I'd be more inclined to believe her if he admits there was an affair, though.

And no, I'm not a Garth Brooks or Trisha Yearwood fan. I'm not a country fan at all.

I read somewhere yesterday, maybe on Twitter?, that an accusation was getting ready to come out about a celebrity and they were trying to keep it confidential. I wonder if this was it.

I am about the biggest believer in #metoo, with the belief that Hollywood is a disgusting, perverted cesspool, that you will find. And I cannot stand when people don't believe women. But even for me, something about this doesn't ring true. She didn't sue until he tried to stop her from her extortion scheme. He never would have done that if anything she is saying is true.

Accused of sexual assault. He's always been creepy to me.

Thought he was gay..... guess he's just bisexual.

I know Garth and that’s not his character. He didn’t do it. Her comments do not make sense. She tried to get her job back. If he assaulted her then why work for him. She’s money hungry.

I was a professional in the country music business. Not all are drunks. Your sorority sister is wrong!!! There are a lot of good people. There are bad people in every profession.

Country music is a lot of desperate white trash who get a taste of money, hooked on coke and exploited by executives. Don’t buy that awe shucks crap. It’s a ruthless business full of evil people.

Same thought here.

You know the face Garth shows you. When are dummies like you going to get that even the most abusive sociopath is nice to most people? People who act crazy around everyone quickly run out of victims and get caught.

You are the dummy. U don’t have a clue what u are talking about. I had a professional relationship and have known him for years. U are an idiot. U are sick!!! U people are the trash because that is all that u talk about! God help u all!! U must live miserable lives.

Ah, Ok. If you’re the company Garth keeps, then the allegations make a lot more sense.

So your version of the story is, he was having a consensual affair with this woman? And all of her claims are untrue?

I was talking about from a PR perspective. I thought that was clear.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. This is also a civil lawsuit not a criminal matter but anyways.

I don’t know what happened but he’ll look more guilty if he admits to an affair than if he denies the entire thing. I’m expecting a statement in the upcoming days.

I will honestly be bummed if this is true. He has denied this in the past re the same woman. He provided text proof that she made these claims after he denied certain employment benefits. He claimed it was retaliation… But these are some pretty graphic and specific claims. Especially the part about him holding her by her ankles u side down while he allegedly raped her. I think those details were in the TMZ article.

That seems really difficult - doubt he could do that.

She’s under five feet tall. I’ve met him, it’s possible.

Ugh he cheated on his first wife repeatedly. I know him too. Ask anyone in Oklahoma about him, he’s an arrogant a who bosses his way around everyone and everything. Character is not something I would attribute to Garthy boy, nor his current wife. It’s actually kinda fun to watch this bast… squirm. I would say Trisha is being quiet. I wondered why she dropped the price on her Brentwood place to dump it the other day? Gonna make a good movie.

Pretty sure his relationship with Trisha began as an affair.

About half of married people have affairs – do you correlate that with half of married People are also capable of rape /assault?

Did you see the part that says, "seems unlikely"?

Then why even mention his affair with Trisha? Seems like you were trying to insinuate a pattern and if not, don’t know why you even brought it up.

It does show he’s not the saint he would like to be. Affairs are immoral.

Pretty much everyone knows an affair is how his marriage to Trisha Yearwood started. It was quite the controversy back in the day. But that has nothing to do with someone accusing him of rape.

Right.
