Why not someone your own age? |
Unpredictable here meant for parents to have kids and die or become disabled so no guarantee of being there for children. |
| *parents die or disable themselves |
| No, they’re not getting married and they’re not having babies. Young women are smart - they see what a terrible deal it is for them - work full time and then do your second full time job at home. And they’re not doing it. |

Bill Gates's daughter got engaged at 21, and married after three years and had a baby soon after and is pregnant with her second. She is a pediatrician.

Look, another woman who hates her life. Shocking. |
My anecdotal evidence bears this out but where did you find that 41% statistic? |
40 year-old male here. I am looking to marry someone between 24 and 30. Why would I want to marry some 30+ leftover women? |
Well, because by that definition, you are a 40+ leftover man. |
Any luck ? How is it going for you ? |
Definitely a red flag! |
40 year-old PP here. I am currently dating a 24 year-old and a 25 year-old woman, and things are going well. I think I am going to break up with the 24 year-old because I have so much more in common with the 25 year-old. No women would want to date me when I was 22 to 39 year-old because I had no money and spent those years building my career. Now is the right time for me to settle down with someone between 24 and 30 year-old. Most 30+ year-old women have emotional baggage, IMHO. |
And you don't? |
On the contrary, no. I can be 40 year-old, get married and have a child, whereas it is extremely hard and risky for a woman to get married, pregnant, and have a child at the age of 40. |
No, the OP is referring to the frequent early marriage posts here. There's another ongoing one about an alleged trend of marrying right out of college. Not a trend in my kids' cohorts |
