If I ever entertained the idea of voting for Harris, I will not vote for her now.

I place this in the same category as paying off student loans or handing out free housing, medical care, and food to illegal migrants pouring into the U.S. Crazy, unsustainable, and profoundly unfair to hard working taxpayers.

Is this money guaranteed to go to American citizens only? Because if so I MIGHT be ok with this. But somehow I doubt it.
Half the townhouses in my parents' complex are now owned by a Chinese national who lives in China. Really stellar landlord. I wonder if he would have been eligible for this when he bought the first one.

If these people had money taken from their wages (like Social Security) to pay for the $25,000 compliments of hard working taxpayers, it may be more palatable.
But, that is not what she has planned. It is very much like the college loan scam.

Person is not bitter, just pointing out poor economic policy. Obviously, you never took an economics class either.

All it will do is raise the price of buying a home, in the same way that government backed student loans increased college costs.

Anyone with a couple of working brain cells gets this. This will ease no one’s struggles but it will work to keep inflation going strong.

Sadly too few see the fallacy of the proposition.

So does mortgage deductions. A lot of people home purchases were based on tax deduction advantages.
