What did you think of this years Olympics?

The track, swimming and gymnastics events this year were excellent.

Watched it for the first time with my kids (age 8 and 6). We are currently in Asia and my dad has full subscription. Kids didn’t realized that there are so many sports out there beside swimming, gymnastic, soccer. We watched fencing, badminton, skate boarding, boxing, judo and track and field. I feel that if we were in the U.S., we would just have watched swimming and gymnastic.

This is a side note, but I find Jimmy Fallon so unfunny. The closing ceremony should be about celebrating athletic accomplishments and good sportsmanship...yet NBC gives airtime to "har har har, a man in a speedo!" and "LOL, the medal awarder dropped the medal, at least it was only a bronze!!"

I felt the same way about the opening ceremonies. I couldn't enjoy them without Kelly Clarkson or Peyton Manning jumping in with some half informed nonsense like Notre Dame had a fire
