BC is fratty, bratty, suburban (not in Boston), grade inflation, white, not-LGBT friendly, Catholic, sports, beautiful campus.
BU is nerdy, urban (actually in Boston), grade deflation, diverse, LGBT-friendly, non-denominational, no real sport except hockey, sprawling campus, close to Fenway |
I'm PP. Sorry, I didn't make it clear. As others mentioned, racial diversity is definitely an important part, especially in the current global environment. However, besides that, what I realized by sending my two kids to different colleges is that I underestimated the importance of urban school opportunities. Four years of campus life in an urban setting enriches the college experience when students make good use of it, and I think this is a very important aspect for young students. However, these factors are not considered in any metrics and are easily overlooked by ranking systems. |
Mostly correct, except BC does not have greek life nor grade inflation |
BC has no frats. BU has some. |
Try. To. Improve. Your. Reading. Comprehension. |
BC does not have frats and grades are not inflated, trust me. |
No frats at BC. |
Believe that was established in 3 of the 4 posts prior to yours. |
If anything BC is less Catholic than it used to be. |
This was feel of school not academics. But . . . BU is not that good. Drexel is about right. GWU is better. Duke ahead of BC but not that far. |
I might be wrong but I do not think BC has frats. |
Couldn’t be more wrong. But please continue sharing |
Because Jesuits are the only one who encourage service? Really? |
How so? Can you give some specifics? |
Lol. Safe to assume this would be the least of their comprehension challenges. |
