Load of crap. We've had higher than normal temps for years now and extended drought across the region. We've changed all the climate zones for planting because of the change in temperatures. Things that were annuals decades ago are perennials here now. We have more days at, over, or near 100 degrees than before. Keep pretending. It is newsworthy because we are having an extended period of high temperatures early and no rain. It causes lots of problems. |
You are ignorant. I'm so sick of the idiots who have shown up to spew stupidity at this site. If you spent 5 minutes reading something other than Fox News, oh wait you don't read. It's hopeless. You just want to shut down anything that might be related to global warming. |
+1, people want to live in a fairy tale and pretend their actions have no impact on the environment and are surprised about their adult kids who do not want to have children. Probably the same people who buy houses near the coast in Florida. |
If you think that some PP having their a/c on in the summer is the one driving climate change instead of multibillion dollar corporations, you are living in a fantasyland |
That is an interesting observation. It seems accurate, IMO. |
Yeah, it really, really was. Absolute perfection. 100% agree |
Look at a few people who own oceanfront or coastal property: Al Gore Barack Obama Leo DiCaprio Micheal Moore John Kerry Melinda Gates Celine Dion These are all people who are heavily invested in telling us the oceans will soon rise anywhere from 50-to-300 feet in our lifetimes. And they’re living on the beach. |
oh, I thought it was a PE reference! ![]() |
At least they are not in some red states where water breaks are a no go! |
We just think you are wrong. Our right. You have the right to think we are wrong. |
Did we have heat waves 300 years ago? 1000 years ago? |
Celine Dion is heavily invested in telling us the oceans will soon rise? Also, Leo DiCaprio is primarily invested in dating 24-year-olds; I wouldn't take his pronouncements on public policy seriously if I agreed with them or disagreed with them. |
Never. Prior to Donald Trump, the surface temperature all over the entire planet was a uniform 74 degrees F, with 20% humidity, a gentle intermittent breeze, and mostly sunny (even at night). Trump ruined EVERYTHING and gave us the climate we have today, where people are literally combusting as they wait for the bus because air temps are 1,583 F. |
The problem with living at the beach is the risk of loss, not added environmental impact. These people aren't worried about the risk of loss and won't need the government to bail them out. |
Right. These properties are pocket change to them |
