I was around for that. The reason why they tried to box EV-S out was because the chair wanted to serve a second year. But it was beat back by the public. CDT is gone. There's only two people who can skip over Mary, and she has the most seniority. I can't believe that pettiness is the reason why they are trying to get rid of MK. It's nonsensical.

Fingers crossed this gets beat back by the public too. I wouldn’t believe it but the person posting it is credible.

If it is credible, the last place I would post is AEM because it just brings out all of the crazy. It’s so bad, it’s now in DCUM. 😂 I don’t know Mary very well, but I’m sure she’s aghast about how all of this is going down.

She should have just asked her supporters to speak at SB meetings. I’m leaning towards if it is true, it’s an exaggeration.

The rest of the Board can’t really hate her that much for taking her job seriously. She’s not even questioning APS that much. That’s Miranda’s role.

Is Miranda doing that? Haven't seen her do anything useful at all. The only thing she's doing is trying to get APS to go along with the Youngkin blech to undermine public ed.

Nobody is coming out as a source though. Just a whisper campaign. If there's a whole conspiracy to get rid of a SB member doing their best for their constituents, come out with it and get out of the shadows.

WTF? It doesn’t make her look worse.

Maybe you're an insider who knows all the deets, but for me a call for emails to the Arlington County School Board based on unsubstantiated rumors, calling out other SB members who may or may not have anything to do with it is so stupid. I hope Mary and her friends can fix it because I actually do like her as a school board member and think she would be just as good of a chairperson as anyone else.

Did Mary ask for people to email about it? I didn’t see her post.

Mary isn't asking anyone to do anything as far as I know. That seems pretty clear from the AEM post.

A lot of people want her to be chair, so they are emailing the board.

This isn't just about Mary, it affects all of us in APS.
