APS School Board Chair Drama

I read the entire AEM thread, and this situation is just so unbecoming. Everyone looks bad, including Mary. They should have just handled everything in house instead of stirring up drama.

What I'm finding really weird is why this drama was leaked in the first place. Mary, of all people deserves to be the next SB chair and if the only reason that the rest of the board doesn't want her is because she shows them up, they can't make that argument when they vote for her. It will be very obvious they just hate her.

It's just so stupid. APS just is a dumpster fire.

I don't believe it. I know Priddy, and it doesn't seem like something he would do. If Turner is against it, and obviously Mary would vote for herself if she wanted it, that's three votes. I don't think much of Cristina, but isn't she on maternity leave anyhow? This seems a weird thing for her to be doing. I don't know Bethany at all.

If there are 5 members and 4 year terms, someone has to be "skipped" every 4 years, right?

I was around for that. The reason why they tried to box EV-S out was because the chair wanted to serve a second year. But it was beat back by the public. CDT is gone. There's only two people who can skip over Mary, and she has the most seniority. I can't believe that pettiness is the reason why they are trying to get rid of MK. It's nonsensical.

Nobody is coming out as a source though. Just a whisper campaign. If there's a whole conspiracy to get rid of a SB member doing their best for their constituents, come out with it and get out of the shadows.
