APS School Board Chair Drama

Anyone see the post in AEM about the Board trying to deny MK her well deserved school board chair appointment? Does anyone know details besides rumor and conjecture?

I don't get it. She is the nicest person on the board. Why would anyone on the Board hate her so much to scheme to not give her the chairperson-ship?

I saw the AEM post but it sounds like all rumor to me. 1) we don't know this is happening. 2) if it is happening, maybe it's at her request?

They are all doing their jobs though. Some more quietly than others. It makes no sense, and I'm not sending one email to the Board based on what somebody posted in AEM.

Maybe, but it still makes no sense. She's loved by the community and if she runs next year, she'll win. She probably wouldn't even have a challenger. Someone responded in AEM that Mary needs to address it herself, and I agree with that because it is still rumor no matter what anyone says in AEM.

I have no more information but from what AEM's OP said, it sounds like Cristina and David are driving this train and Miranda is against? Where's Bethany in all of this? I thought Bethany and Mary were friends. In the end, she would need three people to vote against her for chair.

It's CDT, Priddy and Bethany. CDT and Priddy don't like Mary because she makes them look bad but not sure why Bethany doesn't like her.

CDT and Priddy are out the door though. I can't believe they really hate her that much. They could have run for reelection if they wanted this much power over Kadera.

Not sure why Bethany is involved though. They seem friendly.

I'm guessing that Bethany would skip over Mary. She would be up for chair in 2025.
