Perhaps further clarification is necessary. I’m only 21 years old. Father gifts me a new car plus $250K cash on each of my even-year birthdays while Mother gifts me one share of BRK-A on each of my odd birthdays. I have a modest $200K allowance and $30K of interest income each year to help pay for my automobile expenses. |

They are so much nicer and more comfortable. These car threads are ridiculous and funny to compare to the thread about flying business class. |
| $290k, 2017 Toyota Corolla and 2024 Kia EV6. We will drive them until they cost more to maintain than they’re worth. |

$400-500k depending on the year, mostly from DH. I work very PT.
DH drives a 2020 Acura TLX base model for just getting around town and occasional office days. He would have gotten himself something even cheaper - I had to talk him up to this and it was still a great deal during the early pandemic days. I currently have a 10 year old Odyssey that we are about to replace with a new one of the same. We’ll get the top trim in that as it’s our main car. DH and kids are tall so we really like the legroom and don’t want a Suburban/Expedition type car. Minivan suits our needs and is luxurious enough for us. |
