It's interesting that you mention this because several people that I have met from either Utah or Minnesota have "off" "weird" tastebuds. It's like they either like super bland food, food with too much cheese or overly sweet items as if their tastebuds don't work properly.

What? Their tastebuds aren’t “weird.” You know how people speak of others having good or poor “taste”? The metaphor arises out of the fact that people have different taste—literally. And it is heavily influenced by culture. Not a lot of heavy seasoning going on in the upper Midwest, so people develop a liking for bland foods—because that is what they grew up with. Their tastebuds “work” just fine.

So go away with your ignorance and snobbery.

I think it is absolutely laughable they define a serving as only a 1/4 of a cookie. Who TF is going to only eat 1/4 of a cookie. No, the entire cookie itself has almost 800 calories, 30+ grams of sugar, 100% DV worth of saturated fat, and over 100 mg of cholesterol.

It's not even a sweet 'treat'. It's a giant health bomb.

Wow! Is that any specific cookie? I assume the larger premium cookie cake things are even worse! They are usually $1-3 extra too.

That's just the standard chocolate chip cookie. Here is the even worse freak show that is the cinnamon bun cookie:

I can't imagine feeding this thing to a child. Even if you cut it into 1/4 you're still giving a kid 20 grams of sugar they'll wolf down in about 10 seconds. That's borderline child abuse.

Americans should learn to live with the mindset of Swedish lagom. Why does everything have to be so massively excessive in this country? And we.wondee why our people are so unhealthy.

To put this in perspective, this is almost akin to eating an entire pint of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

Gross. And no way in HELL I’d ever give that to a child.

I haven't read any of the comments but, IMO, Crumbl is disgusting. I don't know why exactly but we're not fans. Don't get me wrong, my kids like sweets but they throw these in the trash.

I tried one at a work event last week (peanut butter chocolate chip) and all I could taste was sugar. No peanut or chocolate came through; it needed some salt as well. The texture was decent. In the two bites I took I got crunch on the outside and pleasantly gooey but not underdone on the inside.
But the cloying sweetness made it a one-and-done experience for me.

We have always cut them in quarters or eighths. My teen and tween usually eat a quarter and DH and I eat an eighth. I think it is laughable that you would look at that giant cookie and think it should be eaten all at once.

They're cakes as cookies. Too sweet. Didn't like it.

Very few people are cutting a fresh cookies into 4ths or 8ths. They’re not even that big to be honest, it’s just the fact that it’s all sugar.

I think it's laughable you have to cut a cookie into 1/4 or 1/8. 1/4 of the chocolate chip cookie alone has 26g of sugar and 25% DV saturated fat intake! And you know you're wolfing that down on about 30 seconds. Why don't you just iv infuse a can of coke and 1/4 stick of butter while you're at it.

Not good. Basically underbaked sugar cookies loaded up with unnecessary toppings.

Too sweet and always gave our stomachs issues after eating a whole cookie. After looking at the nutritional info, I now understand why. I feel like if you eat enough of them regularly, your taste buds start changing and you start craving them? That is the only explanation I can think of for their popularity.

It took me over a week to eat 1 cookie.
It was ok but not great. We have tried several flavors and they are just NOT for me. But my sister loves them.

For those saying they can’t eat a whole cookie in one sitting, you’re not supposed to. Each large cookie is four servings. They even sell a quadrant cutter, which seems dumb because most people are capable of cutting it into four pieces with a kitchen knife.

I enjoy it occasionally, but like LeVain better. They have a store on M street, but you can order them online as well.
