No legacy is fine. Discriminating against legacy with better stats is not fine.

You are taking it better than us. The email circulating defining white, male, hetero, as privilege was enough to make me question my alum…but they’re standards of scores not mattering and taking lesser and lesser GPAs. They have flown the coup. Baltimore is getting worse too.

Those data points are literally insufficient for athletic recruitment at Hopkins, FFS.

Ha! Like it was “that one person”. She was just dumb enough to put it out in an email. It’s their modus operandi undergrad as well. They don’t even try to hide it.

And just one 300 word supplement : tell me about your diversity.

The other schools- like Ivies and other T20s had multiple supplementals. Not just “are you white and male?”
