Trump can’t pay

Trump’s biggest fear is being shown he’s poor.

That must be why he committed perjury by telling the court a few months ago how he had hundreds of millions of liquid dollars.

His net worth is probably in the low 7 figures. He owns a bunch of properties that are valuable, but no one really knows how much debt he has on them, how much is actually just partial ownerships because of LLCs and side deals, etc. If he actually had substantial equity in these properties, it should be no problem for him to go to a bank and borrow this money. The fact that he can't is very telling.

He’s a poor person’s idea of a rich person.

First of all isn't Trump a multi-billionaire?

Second of all, how about Kushner and his wife? Why isn't family helping out?

Too funny.

Also, keep in mind what he’s doing here. He’s implying that billionaires are illiquid to provide cover for the world’s poorest ‘billionaire’. Trump’s brand has taken a big hit.

He's also admitting that they don't want to give money to Trump. Their money people are probably laughing at Mark Levin for suggesting this.

How about Mark Levin start a gofundme to fleece the rubes even more.

Fraud is fraud. It also meant they didn't pay the taxes they were supposed to pay.

What damages?

Either you are deliberately obtuse or just dumber than a box of rocks and, frankly, the rocks are winning.

A lot of people aren’t used to having ex-presidents with such long records of criminality, so you must excuse them. I mean usually a president is someone you could look to for inspiration. In this case, you got this spray-tanned piece of sht who has lied about just about everything and cheated anyone who has ever been close, so you know, right? Makes sense to have a few posts.

Somebody in the New York legislature passed a bill with Trump in mind, said for one year the statute of limitations on long ago sexual assault will be waived. Then suddenly E Jean refiles. It seems like they got the target first and then they manipulated or redefined the laws to make sure that he could be prosecuted.

When in doubt always go for conspiratorial thinking first, I see.

A new law in New York is behind the civil lawsuit brought by E. Jean Carroll against Donald Trump, and survivors hope the spotlight put on it by this week’s verdict against the former president means more people might use it.
The law opened a one-time window for adult sexual assault survivors in New York to file a civil case against an abuser or institution that protected the abuser — no matter when the assault took place, even if it’s outside the statute of limitations. But that window expires in six months.

The law has a one-year window through late November.

Within hours of the law going into effect in late November, Carroll filed a battery and defamation civil suit against Trump.

The Adult Survivors Act Has Expired In New York State

With the expiration of the law, individuals can no longer file new lawsuits under the provisions of the Adult Survivors Act.

How is this a conspiracy if it’s true?

Why has NY let it expire? Why not just keep it in place?

Because they don’t really care about the issue, they are politically motivated to go after DJT. It’s blatant corruption and hypocrisy.

So you are good with some people breaking the law and not being held accountable, but not others?

Lots of developers have talked about how common these accounting processes are. I'm still waiting for the NY Ag to go after other NYC property owners.

Can't wait to they get to some other slimy developers. That all need to go do their frauding somewhere else than NY

He definitely ran his father’s wealth into the ground. The depth of his general incompetence is staggering.

Maybe he should have tried going home and painting like GWB did.

At least Trump didn't kill a million civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan while draining our Treasury 2.9 trillion dollars of taxpayers' money like GWB did.

What does it take to drill it into your concrete brain that the only former president charged with 91 the felonies, now 87 felonies, is Donald John Trump? Pay attention. There is no "what aboutism" of any other U.S. President.

Do the lawyers have to prove he can’t pay?

For what reason. If he cant put up the bond to appeal doesn't he have to pay the judgement. How long does he have to pay it before collection proceedings can begin?

Seems like seizing his assets would be a great way to get his followers to send money and maybe get violent.

Yes. That’s when the sheriff will swing into action.

He did the fraud, he needs to pay the consequences. Nothing to get violent about at all. His followers can find something better to do.
