MCEA has been out to get McKnight since reopening. That's what the initial vote of no confidence was about. But reopening was too popular, so they needed to wait to pin a scandal on her to get their revenge. And NAACP saw right through it.

Really? I’m a teacher and don’t agree with any of that. Most of my colleagues felt she was up to the job. Please don’t speak for all of us.

Hmmm. But it wasn’t about reopening. Clearly, they were right and tired of being abused and not being heard. You do remember the Washington Post article in Fall of 2023, right?

It also was about her being Jack Smith's right hand. He was awful towards MCEA and refused to listen to teachers. It was partly guilt by association and teachers wanted someone from outside the cesspool Fat Jack created. Looks like MCEA was right.

And when was MCEA's vote of no confidence for Smith?

Gee, I wonder what is different about McKnight versus Smith that might cause someone to treat her differently...

That she hired her cronies into all the chief positions and that they as a team were terrible at running the school system during the height of covid.

I don’t remember Jack Smith creating a half dozen new leadership positions paying +$200k per year and then filling them with his toxic and incompetent buddies

I don't remember McKNight doing it either but I guess it's a nice story to justify your racism.

Thank goodness the world doesn’t rely on your memory. She created 5 new roles that reported directly to her that were above the associate superintendent. MCEA and teachers all saw this as gaming the system. Like how celebrities only surround themselves with people that agree with them and give infinite praise. She was tone deaf to what was really happening in the schools and only supported those that spewed the same toxic positivity she did. Her whole push for data was just to manipulate it instead of take any kind of accountability or appear transparent.
