Woodlawn Plantation. I went in there and you are correct. I felt incredible sadness in the kitchen area, like I wanted to sit down and cry. Turns out babies were lost in that room (there's a room off it that turned out to be the birthing room due to warmth). The sadness lingers. |
| Dug up the garden in the back of our Georgetown home to put in a stone patio. Since then, I occasionally hear what sounds like a whine coming from that area. It is not a cat. I had never heard it before. It sometimes goes on for hours. |
| I believe in UFOs but not in ghost. |
I woke up one morning to get ready for school. It was still dark out, and I passed a window with no blinds on it. There was a hall light on, and there was a reflection in the window of a man dressed in a white button down shirt and kacki pants. He was standing down in our front hallway. I waved to him because I thought it was my brother, and he waved back. I though the whole thing was weird, so I said "what are you doing?" He didn't answer, so I leaned over the banister and saw that no one was there. I started freaking out and looked in my brother's room. He was still asleep as were my parents. At dinner that night, I told my parents what happened. My dad said that it sounded like his dad (based on the outfit) who had lived in the house and died in 1957. |
I've been there a dozen times. No ghosts. Lots of reenactment actors. Maybe that's what you're seeing? They do a good job. |
This freaked me out, |

No.
Strange unexplained things? Sometimes - but the answer isn't "ghosts!" |
| Residual presence of the physical body? Yes. |
I saw a UFO this past spring. I woke up my husband to show him. He still thought there was some scientific explanation for what we saw. My 10 yo saw it, too, after hearing me go on and on. Whatever it was, it was indeed fascinating. |
| Never seen one. If they exist , they don't seem interested in me. |
I saw 3 mysterious things in the sky - all at the same time, this is when we were living in CA. They were hovering in a triangular formation over the horizon for a good long time - maybe 20-30 mins. Then all at once they quickly rose up over the horizon and disappeared. DH, who is a huge sceptic of anything he can't see or understand, just sat there stunned. I got online to see if there were any military exercises going on at that time - but could find nothing. whatever it was, it was very strange. |
This used to happen in my sons room, but I haven't heard it in a while. The musical Melissa and Doug puzzles used to sound out at random times. Other toys too. One day it happened multiple times while a plumber from one of the big area companies was working on an adjacent bathroom. He was freaked out but tried to hide it. He came back about 6 months later and he asked about the noises as soon as he walked in the door. I think all was quite that time. |

| Yes, I believe. I worked in a haunted building about 20 years ago. Doors opened by themselves. Once I saw a shadow of someone move behind me in the reflection of my computer screen. Another time double doors violently shook, when I opened the doors and peered in the next room, no one was there. I ran out of that building as fast as I could and was scared to go back in. |
