This is making me remember how good homemade dressing (even basic!) is. Olive oil, vinegar (sometimes balsamic, sometimes red wine), a little dijon, salt/pepper. Super easy.
That said, we've lately had an arsenal of the Ken's light dressings on hand - bleu cheese, ranch, Caesar, Caesar-vinagrette, Greek. Also, look into the salad dressing mixes from Penzey's. I really like their French Vinaigrette, Greek, and Green Goddess. You can mix up a batch and use it through the week. |
| Kewpie roasted sesame dressing. Makes any vegetable so yummy. I dip everything in it. |
Actual honey + mustard (ideally Dijon/whole grain mustard, but any will do) is amazing. It will blow you away if you’re used to bottled “honey mustard” dressing. I pour honey into ~3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard and taste until I like the balance. If it’s too thick, stir in olive oil or water to get a consistency you like. |

Dress it up dressings are very good, especially sesame tahini. Women's owned and whole foods ingredients. It used to be harder to find but I think Giant even carries it now.

Field +Farmer Lemon Garlic Basil dressing was not only my favorite salad dressing- it was low carb and low sodium. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available. Any suggestions for low sodium salad dressings? Thanks!
