I'm the PP here and I've read the last few pages with interest. A funny thing is happening that proves my point, but many of you can't see it. I said WEALTHY white men. This has always been the case. There has always been an upper class of wealthy white men -- usually land owners. Lots of white men actually get oppressed because they are NOT wealthy. So actually the vast majority of white men (and women) are oppressed in this dynamic. But like I said, the rich white guys pull a trick where they convince all the people they are oppressing that the real problem is one another. So white men who are not wealthy run around pointing at women (they go to college at higher rates! they won't marry men! they are gold-diggers! etc.), or black and brown people, or immigrants, or people who have even less money than they do. The Trump base is FULL of white men and women who feel oppressed because they ARE oppressed. By people like Trump. But rather than link arms with the people who actually share their cause, they have learned to blame and hate them. The world is designed to benefit rich white guys and the people they decide to bestow some power/gifts upon (occasionally includes women or gay people or people of color, but only if CHOSEN by the rich white guys, who really pull the strings). The rest of us are just plebes fighting for table scraps. But because a lot of white men self-identify with the Elon Musks and Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch and Warren Buffets of the world, they can't see that these men will only ever exploit them, and that they would be better off actually building bridges to women and minorities and other oppressed people who actually share many of their struggles. Blah blah blah now cue the communism accusations (even though this is not communism but whatever). |
Says someone who obviously doesn't know a lot about the rest of the world. |
Lol All of the posters pointing out that white women are at the top of the heap, and that men including white men are in trouble, are women. Oppression blah blah blah. |

The facts do not match the oppression-narrative pushed by the left:
94% of new corporate jobs went to People of Color (POC or BIPOC) despite whites making up 60% of the country. Cite: https://cbsaustin.com/amp/news/nation-world/m...icrosoft-wells-fargo Healthcare, the military, airline pilots; Race-based, discriminatory hiring has infected every last institution of higher learning, and large industry, in this country. Sooner or later, we will all be feeling the consequences of abandoning merit. |

| Wake me up when women get drafted into the military. |
What does that have to do with how OP was treated, in the South ? |
| If you unironically use the words intersectional, systemic, and oppression in the same sentence I immediately stop taking you seriously as a thinking individual |
This was debunked the first time it was posted. Amazon warehouse jobs during the pandemic are not oppressing the white man. |
Only when I can use a coffee cup! |

Aren't you a peach. |
White women are oppressing the white man. Obvs. |
Wake me up when we are treated as equals...then we can talk about drafting |
