I did keep my gut feeling to myself. I kept to myself through all the buzz about how Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein portrayal was anti-Semitic, “Jewface.” But now that he’s seriously dating an outspoken antisemite, I don’t think I will anymore.

Yes, but they can't speak for all Jews, and I think they may not even consider themselves Jews.

There is a long history of hostile employment of prosthetic Jew noses and it should never be done. It has a racist history just like black makeup does. The only reason some people think prosthetic Jewish noses are appropriate is because "Jews don't count."

So when Cooper "Jews don't counts" us and also hangs out with antisemitic conspiracy theorist Hadid, well, now we do know how he really feels about Jews.

I'm Jewish and I think it's a waste of time to criticize the Hadids for being antisemitic. They're unaccomplished, uneducated, unhealthy role models, with eating disorders and possibly drug issues and tons of plastic surgery. Honestly I feel sorry for them.

I don't think the gut feeling is a good argument. The prosthetic Jewish nose thing was icky, though, and Cooper's apparent ability to stomach Hadid (I known antisemite with a history of conspiracy theory spreading) suggests he does have some fundamental contempt for Jews.

So, your gut feeling seems to have been correct, though we should be paying attention to the actual evidence of antisemitic actions from both of them rather than the gut feeling.

The Hadid's are outspoken about their antisemitism so I agree. Why would he willingly get involved with that family? He must share similar views on some level
