Seriously. This is not an accusation to be thrown around. |
I will repeat this again and again. I have no evidence of this. It’s just a gut feeling. I should be free to have it, no? |
I'd keep pure "gut feelings" to your self. |
My gut feeling is you’re an idiot. |
I did keep my gut feeling to myself. I kept to myself through all the buzz about how Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein portrayal was anti-Semitic, “Jewface.” But now that he’s seriously dating an outspoken antisemite, I don’t think I will anymore. |
Perhaps, but I don’t think I am. I think I’m just very observant and pick up on subtleties that other people don’t notice. I’m a highly sensitive person. |
Well that is a bit different. That is not pure "gut" feeling then. |
No, my gut feeling happened the first time I saw him on a talk show at least a decade ago. There was something about him that made me think that. I never told anyone I felt that way, until now actually. |
I don't think the gut feeling is a good argument. The prosthetic Jewish nose thing was icky, though, and Cooper's apparent ability to stomach Hadid (I known antisemite with a history of conspiracy theory spreading) suggests he does have some fundamental contempt for Jews. So, your gut feeling seems to have been correct, though we should be paying attention to the actual evidence of antisemitic actions from both of them rather than the gut feeling. |
I think you may be right about his antisemitism but stick to the evidence rather than the gut feeling. |
What a nice creative writing exercise! |
Dude take responsibility for the words you put into the universe. You don’t have to voice every “feeling” you get, especially when you admit there is no logical reason for it. |
+1 You should be more careful with slanderous accusations. |
I didn’t share my long held gut feeling until now. Because there’s actual evidence for it now. He was accused of antisemitism and “Jewface” for how he portrayed Leonard Bernstein and now, right as aggressive acts of antisemitism are rising in America, he’s getting serious with an outspoken antisemite. I suppose you’d need him to go all out and say stuff like Kanye or Mel Gibson, but Bradley is too put together and sane for that. At this point I see all I need to see. I feel that it’s safe to say my gut didn’t lead me astray. Tbh, it never does. |
didn't Leonard Bernstein's family support the casting and portrayal? |
