Plain State Universities

The Plains States have lots of really good SLACs like Carleton, Grinnell, Macalester, St. Olaf, Gustavus Adolphus, Luther, etc. I was surprised by how much I liked them all.

Some of those are too woke, but Gustavus is way underrated.

Given the academia job market, even sub-flagship publics have tons of hypsm professors

our HS has teachers from MIT, and we are not at a wealthy public.

These schools are in the Midwest.
