Do house cleaners transfer germs between houses?

In hotels, they sometimes use the same rag for wiping down the toilet as they do for cleaning the drinking glasses on the bathroom shelf. Just because you wouldn't do something, doesn't mean that somebody under time pressure to finish cleaning a room doesn't do it.

That's why I always wash the glasses and ice bucket myself daily.

I think by antibacterial, they mean bleach or Lysol/Clorox spray, which kills both viruses and bacteria according to the labels. Stop being a nitpicking doofus.

If she’s cleaning up a stomach virus or strep etc. at the previous house and then uses the same vacuum, rags, sponges etc. at our house is she just moving the germs around from house to house? Is this a thing?

Yes, I’m very well aware I’m an anxious person before anybody spends time pointing that out lol.

My person uses my vacuum and rags. That’s enough for me. They take their shoes off at the door.

OP, you were one of the people who lysoled themselves before returning to the house and littered gloves in parking lots in Spring 2020, right?
