Why? I liked her even more for standing up and speaking up against the atrocities that happened to the concert goers in Israel on 10/7.

You can be upset at the events of 10/7 AND recognize that a massacre is occurring. Think beyond the binary. These thoughts are not mutually exclusive.

No they are not. But a massacre -- I don't think so. Maybe change the government in gaza and things would improve.

This is quite literally the most ignorant and uneducated comment I’ve seen in a while, and that’s saying a lot.

She was nominated for an Emmy then fired? gmab.

So no, people do not have a problem with plain women (Mayim Bialik isn't ugly...maybe plain, but not ugly). And noticing character flaws in women isn't always internalized misogyny.

And yes, before someone asks, I also think Johnny Depp is evil to the point of being demonic.

Funnily enough, I have a cousin who is Wiccan and she also says Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are both demonically possessed. But she deals with stuff like that as part of her work. Not something I know much about.

I love Ken. He is so pleasant and quick-witted.

YES! This was exactly what bothered me about her. It was the superior tone she took when someone got the answer wrong. She acted like she personally knew all the answers, and they were dolts.

And the way she would correct their pronunciation - ugh.

I agree. I do find her annoying as a host, but agree completely with her pro-Israel stance.

Internalized misogyny?

Or here’s a novel theory: she is actually insufferable.

No. If you criticize a woman in ANY WAY, you are a misogynist. Same with being a racist if you criticize a POC. There is no arguing about this.

Say the quiet part out loud. She's not conventionally attractive, and you think she shouldn't have the audacity to be on tv

This. You probably don't like Lena Dunham SJP or Amy Schumer either.

DP. Is there some reason we should like those particular women? I don't like Jack Black, Tracy Morgan, Robert Downey Jr., or Phylicia Rashad (among others). Is that allowed?

Her timing drove me nuts. I don’t love that she shills for supplements, but otherwise had no issue with her. That weird pause before responding to contestants wasted valuable time.

Exactly what I was thinking. Although I’ve never seen her. Not the same with Alex. No need to watch.

He may be pleasant and he’s so “flat.” Autism flat.

Ken does that also. As did Alex. Part of the job.
