Triple washed, torn salad mixes are not being prepared and packaged in the fields. You must be talking about lettuce that’s still intact. That needs to be rinsed thoroughly.
You are always supposed to rinse the bagged lettuce.

Respectfully, you cannot wash off salmonella, and if you think that, your food safety knowledge is putting your family at risk.
the point is -- you don't trust the "triple washed" ad! THis also happened on Oct. 23.
