Loser

Don’t put yourself down.

How old are you...10? I agree with the previous comment. Anyone who makes up stuff to mess with anonymous posters is a loser.

What kind of a loser continues to engage with someone they think is a loser? Oh that would be you, but you’re too big of a clown to realize it

This is the stuff that makes DCUM seem so out of touch. That is your HHI so you hang out with people with similar HHI. It doesn't mean that there aren't families who earn less than 300K. There are plenty of them. In fact, most them earn less than 300K. They are just invisible for people like you.

The question is "Does DCUM skew super wealthy?"

I wasn't replying to that question but PP's comment. Lots of people make good money but it is not the majority.

I think most people on DCUM probably make north of 300k annually. That's not super wealthy though.

DCUM is not that rich as they count HHI. In NYC and San Fran if you ask income it is an individual income.

An average Blah job with bonus makes 200k mid career. In DCUM people say 400k and combine wife and husband 200k income into a more impressive 400k income.

Depends on perspective. We make 225 and feel very wealthy. (In the DMV area)

Examples? Are you serious because I never lie on here.

Example: Everything I write is a lie

I think most people are posing on here. If I were earning $500k plus, I wouldn't be lurking around here.

DCUM does not skew wealthy.
All the good folks here making $500k+ annual incomes keep adamantly insisting that they are middle-class.

That's because it's a different middle class than other place's middle class.

Truly. For example, I live in DC and I don’t think I know anyone who makes more than $200K. We’re all getting by just fine.

You might. One thing about our real estate system is that neighborhoods appear super economically homogenous and there are a lot of social pressures to keep that appearance even if your circumstances change, in either direction.
