I have never been fat but I have often felt famished all the time when I eat within my calorie target. I manage that with exercise and eating certain foods to help with the starving feeling. But I’m genuinely curious as to whether the feeling of hunger/famishment that overweight people feel is even worse? Beyond a feeling of hunger, do they exhibit symptoms of addiction withdrawal too? Would wegovy help me with not feeling that gnawing hunger all the time? |
Yes, fat people are just lazy, lack willpower, and need a few lessons on diet and exercise. They simply aren’t as virtuous as thin people. And they don’t care to learn how to be good. What we need is an industry all about diet and exercise to teach them. That will fix everybody. Because it isn’t more complicated than just eating less |
OP unless the weight loss clinic is scripting this med for you, who cares what they say. |
I do get the prescription from them. It’s a medical weight loss clinic where I meet with a doctor or NP and a dietician each month. |
Is your visceral fat and weight where you want it? If so, is there a reason you don't want to come off? I'm also on wegovy but hoping to come off eventually. |
It is no doubt some form of spectrum. As somebody that was obese myself, the vast majority of people with over consumption problems are just unwilling or unable to manage it on their own. This idea that being hungry for more than 30 minutes or an hour is unnatural or problematic is so dumb it makes my head hurt. Some endurance athletes seek out a fasted state to work different energy systems - the body has those. The concept of meal preparation and scheduling would also be a crazy idea. |
