| I’m going to vote yes on both of those questions and no on the term limits. Term limits are a terrible idea pushed by Republicans and result in short term thinking. I don’t know about you but I want my city representatives to think about what things will be like in the next couple of decades while I live here and not just the next 4-8 years while they can be in the council. |

Absolutely not.
Being physically present in a country does not entitle one to vote in elections. That’s all there is to it. |
You thought incorrectly. The oath says something about giving up other allegiances, US law doesn't require them to give up other citizenships |
Who cares? The gov does unconstitutional stuff all the time. What’s so different about this? |
| Follow the rules and become a citizen to vote. In no case should illegals be allowed to vote, even in local elections. |
| No and hell no. |
So what about the non-citizens that did follow the rules and are here completely legally? You know we have a lot of them right? We can them "lawful permanent residents." How do you feel about them? |
| No way. If anything, we should raise the voting age to 21. |
NP. They should not be allowed to vote. Voting is a privilege of citizenship. Why is this so hard? |
I also think there should be a cutoff at 80. Don’t make decisions for my future, our planet, etc when you’re going to be dead in 5 years. |
+100 |
| No |
| yes |
1. We have term limits. They're called elections. |
As long as they are paying taxes, these 80 YOs have every bit as much of a right to vote as you do. How do you know for certain that YOU will be alive in 5 years? |
