They worked to earn credits for that. The Cola is set into law. Voting not to have their benefits cut at an age where they can't make up the income is not at all the same as voting for new freebies. |
Not the PP but I don't think either of you are keeping in mind a key point here. We are talking about local elections (likely Rockville). What exactly do you think are the "new freebies" that anyone thinks they are going to get by voting for a particular candidate, in particular a teenager? |
Greedy boomers squabbling with self-involved Gen Z over government spoils. Love it! |

You should have to be at least 18 years of age, be a US citizen and meet one of these two qualifications to vote in US elections:
Be a land owner who can trace their ancestry to someone who came to the US before 1776, Or Pass a civics test the ensures you understand the founding principles of the United States and how the Government works. |
I think they are probably choices to vote than your nasty ass |
| Idiotic. |
+1 |
| Takoma Park has allowed 16 year olds and noncitizens to vote since the 1980s. Marc Elrich was elected to his first of ten terms on the Takoma Park city council in 1987. The rest is history. |
+100 I also don't support allowing felons to be able to vote again, they lost the privilege. Looking at YOU VA. SMH. |
If you are older than the President, then you shouldn't be allowed to vote. |
| Hell to the no. |
If they do the time than I think they should be allowed to vote |
Racist |
This nasty ass can make a coherent statement. We STILL don’t know what you meant with your gibberish. Care to try again? |
And buy guns again, too. |
