Thoughts on Babson?

If a student is 100% sure that all business, all the time is their thing then apply. Wellesley is a lovely albeit very boring suburban town. It’s not in Boston, as BC claims too. Lots of very wealthy international students who hire car service limos to party in city. Students can take classes at Olin.

+1 Based on our experience with several people from DCs HS. who are now going there, these are kids who are training to work in and help run a family business. So for that reason, income levels might be a bit skewed. The liberal arts and language options at a Babson are almost non-existent but they are allowed to take these classes at Wellesley College if they want to. DC looked at it, but decided that without a preexisting business to move into, a more comprehensive education might be better.

We have not known that experience at all, from our DCs friends who have attended Babson. But then, they don't get their information from Reddit.

I went to Babson 20 years ago and had internships at venture capital firms. Lots of recruiters from banks, hedge funds, funds of funds, big companies and small firms. There is a large international presence with children who come to learn to run their family businesses. I had friends from Europe and Asia.

This is a niche school for students who are passionate about business. Olin is also excellent for engineering.
